(Stud Fee)Jake is one of our herdsires, that we carefully selected from some of the most elite bloodlines in the country. He is a son of Avalon’s Jacob Black, one of the most influential black herdsires in the country.
Jake is a really cool, in your pocket alpaca in the field. He is one of the first to meet you at the gate and his presence is absolutely stunning! His crimp is uniform and offers lots of density with exceptionally long staple length, and we can’t wait for him to put his stamp on our breeding program. He is learning new commands currently including – coming when called by name, kissing on command and to allow petting his fleece on verbal command in the pasture. He is always a farm favorite and walks perfectly on a lead for both adults and small children.
He grew 11 pounds of fleece in 2023!
